The Colour of The Sink You Would Like

Copper is very unique in the way that it develops its colour. It is the only material that changes colour due to the natural chemical reaction it has with its environment. You will find that each and every copper sink created will be unique in its natural shading.

You may not have a choice in the specific colour tone but there are two basic types of finish that you can choose.

  • Natural Brown - This has the effect of a more weathered look.
  • Clear Glossy Shine - This is a much brighter colour which can be maintained with regular waxing.

Great article. Love copper - thank you!

Also, important to note, copper is a natural antimicrobial. Stainless may be the choice according to rb11 but I love the look and for the kitchen with food borne illnesses copper adds another measure of safety.

@rb11 - copper does require a little more care and attention than steel but the look of it is definitely worth it.

Copper is beautiful material, but isn't stainless steel still the main choice these days?
