Charter A Private Jet – Hire A Private Jet And Travel In Style Like The President

I was recently watching President Obama boarding his private plane and I thought, wouldn’t it be wonderful to hire a private jet and have it at your beck and call. All the normal problems that occur when travelling would simply melt away.

It got me to thinking about how much it would actually cost an ordinary person like me to try and arrange for this type of thing. I would probably only do something like this for a special occasion but if I got a group of friends together I wondered if it would work out to be similar to the cost of flying with a commercial airline.

The benefits you can get when you hire a private jet include one of the most important things and that is to save you time. Everyone wants to find ways to reduce the amount of time it takes to do certain things when going on vacation.

Time waster No. 1

At the moment you have to get to the airport at least a couple of hours before your plane is due to depart if it is a transatlantic flight.

Time waster No.2

Once you get to the airport you have to queue for a ridiculous amount of time.

Isn’t it annoying how each airline has rows of counters but only two seem to be open and manned at any one time.  So passengers on flights to every destination imaginable are herded together.  There is usually an attendant standing by one of these vacant counters appearing to be doing nothing except to say “sorry I’m closed”  if a hapless traveller does dare to wander over for some customer service.

Timewaster No.4

Going through passport control can be a nightmare. Now that stricter rules have come into force with regards to what you are allowed to take through as hand luggage, the whole process has really slowed down. I know that it is for our own security but, hey, it is still annoying.

I am usually one of the unlucky ones that ends up having the beeper thing go off. I end up having to remove my shoes, remove my belt and getting a little girl on girl action with the security guard. Well come on, the way that this particular woman was caressing my breasts prior to my recent plane journey, (just checking the under wire bra – yeah right) I wasn’t sure if I should suggest that we get a room together or something.) The male security guard was watching so intently I expected him to break out the popcorn or something.

Now just imagine you and your friends having arranged a private jet whisk you away to paradise. As you are in control of the time schedule, you will be able to swan up to the airport at your leisure. Private charter planes tend to be located at smaller airports so you will not even have to deal with any crowds.

More Space Means More Luggage Capacity

An excellent advantage to chartering your own jet is the immediate increase in the amount of luggage you are able to take with you. If you want to take your whole wardrobe with you, so be it.  No messing about with the restrictive amounts allowed on commercial flights.

If you do choose to hire a private jet, you may find that this is the only way to travel. It could be a real struggle to return to reality.
