Breast Enlargements – Information On Breast Implants

The Different Types Of Breast Implants Available
There are many reasons why women choose breast augmentation. If this is what you want to do in
order to improve the appearance of your bust line then the next decision you have to make is to
decide what type of breasts you want.
There are two types of implants to consider.
- Natural tissue breast implant
- Synthetic breast implant
Natural Tissue Breast Implant
The breast
is made by using body tissue from different parts of your body in order to
create the shape. The tissue is
collected from the stomach and the back.
The surgeon will create a breast using a mixture of this tissue along
with some excavated skin and muscle.
This type of implant is usually carried out on women who have chosen to
get breast reconstruction surgery after surviving cancer. This surgery can be a painful procedure as
the materials to form the breast have to be taken from parts of the body. it is
also possible that this will cause some scarring.
Synthetic Breast Implant
This is the regular option for women wanting to get breast enlargements for cosmetic purposes. The implant consists of a liquid solution that is encased in a clear or frosty plastic moulding. Different sizes are made so that you have the choice of how big you want your bra cup size to be. There are two different types of synthetic implants available in the UK.
- Silicone gel implants
- Saline implants
Silicone Gel Implants
These are made with a silicone liquid which can be either runny with the consistency of a shower gel or they can be firmer and have the consistency of jelly. This is a popular choice because they feel the most natural as they are not too hard.
However the one disadvantage that some people may find is that the surgeon may have to make a larger incision in order to get the breast in place. This could lead to a bigger and more prominent scar.
Saline Implants
These consist of a sterile salt and water solution. You can have a choice of getting pre-filled implants or having them filled once these have been inserted into your chest cavity.
The major advantage of this type of implant is that if it ruptures for whatever reason, the liquid can be absorbed into the body without any risk of danger to your health.
However the flipside is that they are more likely to rupture than the silicone alternative and they may not look and feel as natural as you would like. As these types of implants can be inflated in the body, they can also deflate which means another trip to the surgeon’s office.
Breast enlargements are very fashionable at the moment and when carried out by a qualified and conscientious surgeon can be a great experience and leave you with great results.
It should be understood that this is not a quick and easy process. Take care to fully understand what is involved so that you are confident that you know what to expect.

Saline Implants are better option because they are more safe as compared to silicon implants in case they get ruptured because they contain only salt and water , they are also cheaper that silicon implants . Thanks for the informative hub
